oKa Charming Bungalows
The word “Ocara” comes from Tupi-Guarani and means stage, square, or central courtyard of the village. It is considered a sacred place, of great celebrations and rituals, where new paths to be traveled and conquered begin.
With this essence, oKa Maraú was born, a new concept of lodging and experiences at Praia dos Algodões, in the Maraú Peninsula.
OUR HISTORY
We can say that since the opening of BR-030 in the 1970s, we were pioneers in living on the peninsula. Since then, we proudly consider ourselves natives. We have enjoyed this paradise for over 40 years, and now we share it with you, our guests.
Despite the great tourist interest in the peninsula, we are located in a privileged area of extensive paradisiacal beaches.
The bungalows are part of a family property called Fazenda Ocara, with access through BR-030, extending to the sea. Along this path, you can marvel at the green of the native forest and the giant bromeliads, passing by a river, a vast coconut grove until you reach the beach.
